Brastilo, as a manufacturer and distributor of contemporary furniture, is always looking forward. All of our designs are grounded in history, but we combine this with our Brazilian design sensibility, providing you furniture that is versatile, interesting, and modern. Well, maybe modern is a bad word. We like it to have a modern aesthetic, but really, we want to provide you something that’s forward-looking, if not entirely futuristic, providing you with designs that are inspiring, innovative, and a little bit ahead of the times.
Well, if we’re not futuristic, this new “Manned Cloud” is. Do you remember watching movies that took place in the 40s (I’m specifically thinking of Indiana Jones), and you’d see people enjoying flying in a blimp? Remember how, when you were a little kid, you thought that was so cool and the “wave of the future”? If all goes well for Jean-Marie Massaud, we may soon be able to travel, sleep, and exist in one. That’s right, the dirigible is making a comeback, and how awesome it is! I’m just going to let the folks at Supertouch do the talking because they describe it so well,
"Developed in conjunction with French national aerospace research body ONERA, the massive designer dirigible combines the early 20th century trend of Zeppelin flight with the futurism of modern design to create a new form of luxury touring the likes the world has never before seen. Set to accommodate up to 40 passengers and 15 staff members in the utmost of luxury, the white whale would act as a sort of heavenly cruise ship, ferrying tourists across countries for a bird’s eye view of the planet."
My mouth is salivating – I honestly cannot wait for this to actually make it into production. Talk about luxury travel, this will be truly amazing.
There are truly no words.
